Christmas 2016

We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas! It was a beautiful day, and our prayers were answered with a white Christmas! I think Christmas should be on Sunday every year! It is so nice celebrating the birth of our Savior and really being able to focus on Him while at church. We let the kids see there stuff from Santa, but kept all the other presents until we got home from church.
We had Josh with us for a few days and he got to spend Christmas with us.
Christmas nap!
I just realized that I deleted all of our pictures from my camera, so here we are with the pictures I took on my phone. Makes me sad, but happy we have these. Taelee got a Fuji Film Mini camera, Kingston got a bunch of baseballs, baseball tee, glove, and bat, Eden got an Bitty baby. She was sooo excited about her baby!

Christmas Eve Traditions

Cookies, Santa's Plate, and Jammies! It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without them!

Christmas 2015

We loved our simple quiet Christmas! We didn't have any family in town so we hung around and played with our new goodies. It was a beautiful day!
This is one of my favorite traditions! We read the bible Christmas story on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas morning we read "A Night Without Darkness" while we drink our eggnog before going out to the gifts.

Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas! Little Eden was the best gift our family could receive this year! We wanted to make some meaningful memories and family traditions. Stephen had a great idea to stop by Costco and get a bunch of hotdogs and drinks and deliver them to a popular corner where immigrants wait for construction jobs. The kids had such a wonderful experience giving them out to the group. Our hearts were filled, and my eyes filled with tears as I heard the kids sweet comment "that made me feel good and happy." We also made some Christmas ornaments and cards and took them to a retirement center in Frisco on Christmas Eve. The kids were so sweet as they took their gifts and as we sang carols to them. Taelee was a little timid, but gave them hugs and wished them a Merry Christmas. I was shocked at how friendly and outgoing Kingston was. He is usually pretty timid around strangers, but he was talking up a storm and handing out hugs like candy. We wanted to have a very minimal Christmas and we are so glad we did! Kingston was so excited about every little thing! Taelee got Legos and Kingston got transformers. Stephen's brother Mike and Sister Carrie came to town. The kids were so happy to have some cousins here for the holidays.
We got pretty spoiled too! The kids made Stephen a special Dish Daddy apron and they made me a gift of feathers. We also got a beautiful picture of Christ to hang above our mantel. Stephen surprised me with the best gift ever, he had all of our blog posts printed into books!! It was such a wonderful surprise, and something I will cherish forever! Taelee loved them and said they were her new favorite chapter books. She has already read through three of them.
Not only did we celebrate Christmas, but this little lady was one month old!

Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas with family!
Sooo excited about my Kitchen aid!
My mom put so much time and thought into a book of pictures of me throughout my childhood. It was fun sharing those pictures and memories with Taelee.
It was a beautiful Christmas day, perfect for a walk around the block to test out the new wagon.

Merry Christmas!
