Halloween 2016

We had a great Halloween with family! The kids were so thrilled to get to spend it with them. We had our very own Hermione Granger, Mace Windu, and Indian Princess.

A few days before Halloween Nana and Gonka had a fun Halloween party. The kids got to decorate their own woodland pumpkins.

Halloween Party at Mark and Rebecca's

We were so grateful that Rebecca invited us to their annual Halloween party. She seriously goes ALL out! The food was extraordinarily gross, the reptile man was witty and amazing, and to top it off the balloon lady finalized the evening with an amazing peacock, dinosaur, and princess wand for the kids. Oh and who can forget that she gave all the kids their own Halloween basket of goodies and toys. The kids had such an amazing time!
The reptile man was seriously the highlight of the evening! I know the kids will never forget getting to hold a tarantula and a huge python named Slytherin.

Halloween 2015

Our little monsters had a great Halloween. Kingston broke Taelee's glasses a few days before Halloween so we had to order her new glasses, but they ordered the wrong ones so she even had pink glasses for a few days, the perfect match for her costume! I had quite the mishap making Kingston's costume, but luckily I managed to make it work. It wasn't exactly what I had planned, but he loved it and that's all that matters!
After making Kingston and Eden's cape and poncho, Taelee kind of had her nose cut off that I didn't make anything for her. So I literally whipped her up a cape out of the scraps before we left for Mike and Nancy's. Phew, I learned that from now on I either make them all or buy them all (leaning more to the latter).
The kids love spending Halloween over at Grandma and Grandpa's house; playing in Grandpa's fog, watching him dressed up as Elvis playing all of his music, and entertaining the neighborhood.

October-Halloween Piano Recital

Taelee had another piano recital in October. She was so excited to dress up in her Halloween costume and perform her two songs, "Hayride" and "Fanfare Cannon" that she had been working hard on. She went through a rough patch with piano, not wanting to practice and getting very frustrated with every song. Luckily we figured it out and she has turned over a new leaf! I am so proud of her and how far she has come!
Get ready world...that's a whole lot of young talent!
Oh how we love Miss Lisa and we are so grateful for her patience and dedication!

Halloween 2014

We had a wonderful Halloween! The week before Halloween Stephen and I went to our friends party dressed as a deer and hunter. What a fun night! On Halloween the kids went as a spider witch and a bat. They told me many times that Halloween was one of their favorite holidays. They were literally counting down the days!

Kingston was having way to much fun and forgot how bad he had to go potty...he couldn't get his pants down fast enough and I found him crying in the bathroom. Poor boy! He walked around as a Tongan bat while his pants dried, luckily Grandma had a quick dryer.
Classic Grandpa!
The third little Vrska at 36 weeks.
They got quite the loot! Their bags were so full that Taelee kept losing candy as we were walking home. Why do we even bother getting so much when more than half of it gets thrown away and the other half the kids only get every other day?! I'm not sure, but the kids loved it and were so happy to spend the evening at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
