Five Years!

Happy fifth Anniversary!
When I chose to marry this man over five years ago I had only the slightest inclination of what my life would be like. Little did I know that it was going to be this good! It was the best decision I have ever made!  He does more for me than I ever thought a husband should do. He is the most caring, devoted, funny, handsome, and faithful man I know. He makes me feel amazing, and I thank my Heavenly Father for him every day! He is an amazing husband, father, and friend!

Happy Anniversary

Our four year anniversary was yesterday. I can't believe that four years has gone by...eight apartments, one baby girl, one college degree, one house, another baby on the way, and lots of memories in between! I am so grateful for the choice I made to marry such an amazing friend!
I am grateful to have him by my side!

Husband Tag

I haven't been tagged in a while. I was tagged with this one, and it is perfect timing with our anniversary.

1.Where did you meet your husband? Through my cousins. My cousin was mission companions with Steve's brother.

2.How long did you date before you got married? 2 1/2 months before we got engaged and 3 months later we were married.

3. How long have you been married? 3 years

4. What does he do that surprises you? Lately he has been asking me if he can help me with anything...this means the world to me! He also makes the bed, when he's home.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his hands, his laugh, and his dark features.

6. What is his best quality? He is the nicest person I know, he doesn't get upset, is very patient, and very forgiving. He is a great example to me!

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Not really, just the typical sweetie

8. What is his favorite food? I wish I knew! He likes anything I make him. His favorite desert is rice pudding, and favorite cookies (no bake)

9. What is his favorite sport? He loves all sports, but isn't a big fan of soccer. I would say his favorite is Baseball, but he watches football and college basketball more.

10. When and where did you first kiss? It was at my house on my couch. We were watching a movie and started playing thumb war, and he kind of pulled me towards him for a kiss...romantic eh?? Now that I think about it, that is totally us, we are always playing around with each other, I guess it hasn't stopped!

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? I love going to the temple with him, we went for Valentines Day and it was the best one yet! I always feel a lot closer to him when we go!

12. Do you have any children? Yes, Taelee

13.Does he have any hidden talents? Yes, he can whistle with his tongue, just like me! It was quite the discovery!

14. How old is he? 25

15. Who said 'I love you' first? It was mutual, but I'm pretty sure I got it out of him a lot sooner than he would have liked.

16. What is his favorite music? Country, it's the only kind of music!

17. What do you admire most about him? His spirituality, and his brains (he is a smarty)

18. What is his favorite color? He doesn't really have one, but I would say green

19. Will he read this? Yes at school

20. Who will I tag next? Carrie, Tess, and Shelli

Happy Anniversary

Stephen and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary today. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple at 9:00am. Afterward we had a brunch in the Joseph Smith building. Later that evening we had our reception at the Point Restaurant. I was so fortunate to have my mom as my florist. It was beautiful! My favorite part was my ice cake. It was an amazing experience, I remember smiling like crazy! After the reception we stayed the night at The Grand America and headed off to Jackson Hole the next morning. One thing that I remember from our honeymoon was taking a lot of pictures of animals. Stephen kept saying, "Stop, take a picture". We have more pictures of elk on the side of the road than we do of each other! I can't believe that three years have gone by. I wish that I could go back and experience it all again, it was a day I will always remember. It was the beginning of the happiest days of my life. These last three years have been amazing. We have grown so much, and experienced way more than I could have ever imagined. I look forward to the years to come!
