Children's Aquarium

A couple of months ago we went with friends to the children's aquarium in Dallas. It was great! It was a relatively small place, but very hands on and the kids really enjoyed it. My camera of course died while we were there so the pictures are lacking! We got there in time for the parana feeding which wasn't to spectacular because the fish weren't even hungry and it was pretty crowded. Next to the para as they had a giant snapping turtle. I had never seen anything like it! It weighed more than me and the kids combined! We even got to see him move around right by the glass. They had some awesome jellyfish tanks that changed colors, and hands on tank for touching shelled creatures. They also had a stingray bay where you got to touch the rays. Taelee is OBSESSED with the ocean and says that she wants to be an ocean doctor when she grows up and save all of the ocean animals. Needless to say she was in heaven!

Kingston's britches were slightly too big! They kept falling down by his ankles every time he'd move!
