On December 1st, 2013 the kids heard a knock on the door. Since it was Sunday they were surprised to see a package sitting on our doorstep. Taelee instantly read that it had come from the NORTH POLE! When they opened the package they were excited to find Charlie! Charlie has come to our house for two years now, but only left surprises or special notes. They had never SEEN him before! Inside the package there was also a special book telling us all about Charlie! He was going to stick around during the weeks leading up to Christmas! There were rules though! You couldn't touch him or he would lose his magic, and you had to be kind. Little did they know that Charlie would surprise them every morning by being somewhere new, many times doing something silly and playful! We decided that he really missed the snow at the North Pole because he did a lot of things with "snow," he had a bit of a snow fetish.
This was one of our favorites! The start of his snow fetish!
A busy little elf!
On Christmas Eve he brought a very special surprise! He brought us a new tradition…a plate to decorate for Santa's cookies and the ingredients for the cookies! We were so lucky to have this little elf add a little magic to our house! See you next year Charlie!

The Elf is so fun! I'm glad mine had a blast finding their Elf had moved in the middle of the day. ;)
