This winter we had a couple great snow days (actual powdery snow, not just ice). The kids were excited to play in it. We don't have great snow gear though, so they didn't last long. The first time we played in the snow we made a snow mountain. The kids got to build an awesome fortress when Stephen came home. It has been a pretty cold blistery winter, leading to lots of toasty fires and steaming hot cocoa.
