I love visiting historical sites like this! Fort Macon was incredible. Amazing that this structure has withheld the test of time. These walls have been attacked and beaten with ocean waves, but it is still standing today. It's humbling to know that many died here protecting our country.
I don't know why, but I just love little frogs! These little guys did their best to hide behind the door, but we found them, and Kingston wanted to give them a kiss.
