Weather in Texas has been FREEZING, literally! Monday night we had freezing rain. The wind was insane! During the night I could hear ice smacking against our windows, we barely got any sleep (by we I mean me and the kids). The rest of the week hasn't been much different, it has been so COLD! Stephen's school has been cancelled all week. The roads have been awful so we have been trapped at home for 4 days. Now today we have SNOW! What do you do when trapped indoors for a week?!
...we build fires
we relax
he learns to sit up by himself
we build a fortress out of blankets on the kitchen table
she pretends to be Belle in the fortress
we play games in the fortress
and then when it snows about 7 inches...
we go for rides down the ice and snow covered roads
get buried in the snow
blow our snowman down
roll around in the snow
have a little snowy snack
get pulled down the icy streets
and finally build a snow castle for the princesses!
add a few movies, games, and s'mores in there and we have a pretty fun time!

so who said you had to come to Utah for Christmas.All the things we wanted to do you are doing right in Texas. Who would have known. I can't believe how much SNOW. And that sweet little face in the snow (Taelee) sorry Steve your cute too!
