Monument to Women

This garden found behind the Nauvoo visitors center was spectacular! It was a monument dedicated to women and the vital roles they play in society. The gardens had breathtaking flowers, green trees, and beautiful sculptures. Each sculpture had a scripture depicting that woman. What an inspired place!
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies….Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”
Proverbs 31:10

“…If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.”
Thirteen Article of Faith

“Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.”
Proverbs 31:28

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord…”
Psalm 127:3

“And they shall also teach their children to pray, and walk uprightly before the Lord.”
D & C 68:28
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6

“…neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 11:11
