After visiting Fort Macon we had a picnic by the beach and then went to play. This was the first experience the kids have had with the ocean. Taelee was all about the water and the waves! Kingston on the other hand preferred playing in the sand and avoiding the water (I think he was scared of the sharks. Ironic since he caught one while we were there!) Stephen and I weren't very smart and forgot to put on sunscreen. Needless to say our backs resembled nice large lobsters.
She found her happy place.

He loved the sand, and she loved the water.
The ocean waves lulled Eden right to sleep.
