Oh moving day! Driving away from our house was so hard. The kids were thrilled and were really a great help loading the truck. A big thank you to my mom and Nancy for finishing the cleaning while we went to sign the closing papers.

We sure are going to miss our built ins!
After signing the closing papers, we are officially homeless!
Locking the door one last time.
Goodbye 532 Partridge Drive, Aubrey, Texas 76227 You will be very very missed.
The drive went well. I was so nervous about the car attached to the truck. We only had to stop once and tighten the straps around the tires. Also, when we stopped to spend the night in Colorado it was raining. All the hotels were booked, and Stephen had pulled into one not knowing there was no vacancy. He got stuck and couldn't back the truck up with the car attached, there wasn't enough room. He had to take the car off, move the truck and then reattach. He was filthy and soaking wet.
Eden struggled on the long car ride. She cried a lot. I spent a lot of the time driving with one hand, and reaching back with the other to simply hold her foot which would calm her down for a while. We were lucky with a few short moments of sleep.
We knew we had made it when we saw these beauties!
